Dinamo Starting Champions League Quest Tonight

By 16 September 2015

Can Dinamo break its 15 game losig streak in the competition?

Dinamo Zagreb, the only remaining Croatian club in the elite European football championships, starts its group stage Champions League campaign tonight against none other than Arsene Wenger's Arsenal.

Dinamo Zagreb manager Zoran Mamic stated that Arsenal will not have an easy ride in their Champions League Group F opener at the Maksimir Stadium tonight: ""We will try to pose them problems. We have been playing a style of game for the whole season, so it will be our desire to play the same way tomorrow. I expect a full stadium and great atmosphere."

Dinamo will definitely have a tough task tonight since they are playing against a team that is just staring its 18th successive Champions League campaign while Dinamo Zagreb, though  back in the competition for the first time since 2012 -- never previously qualified through to the knockout stages, and have endured a 15-game winless run in the competition proper.

We wish the boys in blue the very best of luck, and while we wait for the kickoff at 20:45 and live coverage on HTV2, here are the possible lineups:

Dinamo: Eduardo; Pinto, Sigali, Taravel, Pivarić; Machado, Ademi; Soudani, Rog, Pjaca; Henríquez.
Out: Schildenfeld (ankle), Pavičić (metatarsal), Šovšić (thigh)
