October 11, 2019 - Arriva, the leading provider of passenger transport in Croatia, and Cammeo, a prominent taxi service in the country, have joined forces.
Goran Rihej of HRTurizam writes that companies often come together to provide the highest quality services and added value for customers. This is regularly seen in the world of transport as integrated transport experiences are currently king.
Uber, Flixbus, NextBike, and Spin City are just some of the great partnerships that have joined forces to deliver value to customers. In this spirit, a new partnership has emerged in the Croatian transportation scene. Representatives of Arrive Croatia and Taxi Cammeo have signed a cooperation agreement, which, according to the announcement, is the beginning of a new era of mobility.
Both companies say they have provided additional benefits for travelers in the form of discounts and other benefits, and all travelers need to do is 'relax and enjoy the journey'. "We are extremely pleased that Arriva and Cammeo, as leaders in their transportation domains, have started a collaboration that I believe will expand in the future, all to the satisfaction of our many travelers who want the best, safest and highest quality service," said Vedran Tomicic, Arriva Croatia board member.
This partnership is logical and, most importantly, it is customer-focused, i.e., facilitating the crucial customer experience. Thus, users can use Cammeo to the bus station and Arriva for their bus trip, and vice versa.
Arriva passengers who will use Cammeo for the first time will earn a 20% discount and existing customers 10% off. Discounts are also available to all users of the Taxi Cammeo mobile app. Thus, those who register the Arriva Croatia application for the first time will receive a 20% discount on Arriva rides, and existing users will earn 10%.
“Signing this contract is the first step and a kind of 'cornerstone' of cooperation that we will take in the future to a whole new level of mobility. We want to provide our passengers with only the best. In this case, it is a door-to-door service jointly directed by a leading regional taxi carrier and one of Europe's leading bus and coach operators,” said Petar Dragic, Taxi Cammeo CEO.
So, what’s the potential? Namely, Arriva started to expand rapidly in the last few years. Last year, Arriva took over Panturist and Autotrans, and they also have plans to take over Autotrolej, which would also make Arriva enter the city transportation market. Therefore, the interest of the Cammeo Group is clear, and that is connecting with the largest road passenger transport company in Croatia.
Arriva is also one of the largest transport companies in Europe, operating in 14 countries, employing more than 60,000 employees and making over 2.4 billion trips a year.
Cammeo, on the other hand, is a leading regional taxi carrier with over 1400 employees and 900 vehicles today, available in 38 cities in 4 countries and carrying over 12 million passengers annually.
"We believe that our combined resources, experience, knowledge, and professionalism are a winning combination that travelers will recognize because it will make it much easier for them to travel from their departure to destination," adds Tomicic.
In addition to quality, experience, and the best prices, one of the aces of this collaboration is undoubtedly the availability that guarantees integrated transport at the highest level. It is enough to mention that at the Croatian level, Cammeo is present with 500 cars in 25 cities, and Arriva operates with 600 buses, which guarantees high-quality travel and complete mobility from the starting point to the final destination.
“The unofficial motto of Taxi Cammeo is that 'transportation must be as available as water', and this cooperation is based on the thread mentioned above. For Cammeo, the goal is to network all cities in Croatia for the future, thus making travel even easier, and with a partner like Arriva, we are getting a valuable ally with the same goal,” emphasized Petar Dragic.
Both companies want passengers to know that they can expect a new and improved travel experience - and all they need to do is relax and enjoy the ride.
