ZAGREB, October 22, 2018 - The Croatian national society of the Red Cross  (HCK) celebrated its 140th anniversary at a concert in the Croatian National Theatre (HNK) in Zagreb on Sunday and on that occasion donations were collected for 140 destitute old people from all parts of the country.

“If you have more than you need, leave it; if you need it, take it.”

This will be the sixth edition of the charity run which takes places simultaneously across the world.

The participants raised awareness about healthy lifestyles and breast cancer.

ZAGREB, September 4, 2018 - The new edition of the Terry Fox Run humanitarian drive will be held on 23 September at Jarun Lake in Zagreb, and the proceeds will, as usual, be donated to Zagreb's Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI) for its cancer research projects.

The donation made by an anonymous benefactor has caused great interest in the town.
