First Decline in Number of Building Permits Issued in 20 Months

ZAGREB, February 19, 2018 - A total of 825 building permits were issued in Croatia in December 2017, 5% fewer than the year before, while the value of work performed under the building permits issued decreased by 14% to 2.53 billion kuna, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (DZS).

Industrial Production in Croatia Declines Year-on-Year

ZAGREB, February 15, 2018 - Seasonally adjusted industrial production in December 2017 compared with November 2017 rose by 0.4% in the euro area (EA19) and by 0.3% in the EU28, while Croatia led the group of countries experiencing the biggest fall in annual industrial production, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
