ZAGREB, July 14, 2018 - At the end of June, there were 112,500 registered commercial accommodation facilities in Croatia with a total of 1.13 million beds, which is a 12% increase in the number of facilities and a 6.5% increase in the number of beds compared with the same time in 2017, data from the eVisitor online tourist registration service shows. The increases are largely due to a rise in family-operated facilities.

ZAGREB, June 21, 2018 - The Tourism Ministry has proposed introducing, as of 2019, a higher tourist (sojourn) tax during the peak season, and under the proposal, the tax would be raised from 8 kuna to 10 kuna per person per night.
