ZAGREB, May 16, 2018 – Croatian Telekom (HT) on Tuesday denied allegations of business irregularities and causing damage to the company, shareholders and state budget, responding to claims by the chairman of the parliamentary National Council for Monitoring Anti-Corruption Strategy Implementation Željko Jovanović regarding the purchase of Deutsche Telekom bonds worth 125 million euro.
ZAGREB, May 15, 2018 - The chairman of the parliamentary National Council for Monitoring Anti-Corruption Strategy Implementation Željko Jovanović on Tuesday sent a letter to Chief State Prosecutor Dražen Jelenić asking what steps had been taken regarding alleged irregularities in the purchase of Deutsche Telekom bonds worth 125 million euro by Croatia's Hrvatski Telekom (HT) in December 2016.
ZAGREB, April 26, 2018 - In the first quarter of 2018, Hrvatski Telekom (HT) earned a net profit in the amount of 166 million kuna, 11.8% more than in the same period of 2017, while its revenues dropped by 1.1% to 1.8 billion kuna, the telecommunications operator said on Thursday.
ZAGREB, February 21, 2018 - Hrvatski Telekom (HT) generated 7.756 billion kuna in revenues in 2017, an increase of 11% over 2016, while net profit fell by 7.5% to 863 million kuna, the company's audited consolidated results show.
A bold claim by Croatian Telecom.
In the first nine months of this year, the company had net profits in the amount of 735 million kunas, which is 17 million less than in the same period last year.
Good news just ahead of the main tourist season.
The new rules are part of European Union regulations.
The project is worth over 700 million kuna.
Smart booths will provide free wi-fi access, and citizens and tourists will be able to buy parking tickets and tickets for intercity buses.
