150 cyclists from all over Dalmatia participated in the first Dugopolje cycling race held by the Tourist Board of the municipality of Dugopolje and the Cycling Club ''Timun'' from Split. The race took place last Sunday, June 5.

TransDinara Marathon is an international three-day mountain-cycling (gradual, XCP) race which aims to bring together professional and recreational cyclists from the Croatian region in a safe manner. It is his second stage win after he won the first leg from Osijek to Varaždin

Mark Cavendish took the overall lead in the Tour of Croatia by sprinting to a comfortable stage two victory in Split.

Spring is behind the door. I know it, because we have a marked calendar hanging in the kitchen and my almost 5 year old is checking it every day. So only 4 days of winter are left and then the best time of the year in Dalmatia starts. At least for me. Not too hot, but exceptionally beautiful, sunny and pleasant for hiking, cycling and all the other wonderful outdoor activities this area offers.
