ZAGREB, April 29, 2018 - The opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) on Sunday marked the death anniversary of its first president and Croatia's prime minister from 2000 to 2003, Ivica Račan.

ZAGREB, April 9, 2018 - Davor Bernardić, the leader of Croatia's strongest opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP), said on Sunday that the fall in the approval ratings of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) was due to a split in the ruling party over ratification of the Istanbul Convention and a row about the education reform.

ZAGREB, March 3, 2018 - Addressing the Social Democratic Party's (SDP) main committee in Zagreb on Saturday, its leader Davor Bernardić said that, after the forthcoming convention, the party would be stronger, more united and ready to assume responsibility for governing Croatia.
