The Croatian National Football team gathers this weekend for a World Cup qualifying match against Iceland which will be played on Saturday to an empty Maksimir stadium. Coach of the Croatian National Football team, Ante Čačić, answered questions in a news conference on Monday about the team members and what to expect for the big match against Iceland, reports Index.hr and Dalmacija News.

The Croatian National Football team coach Ante Čačić has named 22 players for the qualifying match against Iceland in Zagreb on 12 November, as well as for the friendly match against Northern Ireland in Belfast on 15 November.

Dejan Lovren has asked Ante Čačić to remove him from the Croatian National Football team roster ahead of the upcoming matches against Iceland and Northern Ireland, reports Jutarnji Sport.

Dejan Lovren, Domagoj Vida, and Nikola Kalinić all scored in their matches yesterday.
