Croatian PM expects European Commission to Give Opinion on Uljanik Soon

ZAGREB, January 17th, 2018 - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković told parliament during Question Time on Wednesday that he expected the European Commission to provide Zagreb very soon with its position on the government's approval of a state guarantee for the Uljanik shipyard to help with its restructuring and financial consolidation.

European Commission: No Outstanding Legal Issues Preventing Construction of Pelješac Bridge

ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - The European Commission (EC) doesn't have any outstanding legal issues regarding the construction of the Pelješac Bridge, the EC said on Tuesday after Croatian MP Ivan Lovrinović claimed that the EC had made the financing of that project conditional on Croatia's resolving its border issues with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Oleg Butković said on Tuesday the European Commission had set no conditions for the construction of the Pelješac bridge and that there were no obstacles to its construction.
