Opposition Chief Criticises PM for Censorship

ZAGREB, January 17, 2018 - Social Democratic Party (SDP) chief Davor Bernardić on Wednesday criticised Prime Minister Andrej Plenković for censorship, asking him "Where's the money?" which in Croatian (Di su pare?) is the name of a satire Facebook profile, to which Plenković responded there was no censorship in Croatia and that everyone was allowed to speak their mind responsibly and in accordance with the law.

European Commission: No Outstanding Legal Issues Preventing Construction of Pelješac Bridge

ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - The European Commission (EC) doesn't have any outstanding legal issues regarding the construction of the Pelješac Bridge, the EC said on Tuesday after Croatian MP Ivan Lovrinović claimed that the EC had made the financing of that project conditional on Croatia's resolving its border issues with Bosnia and Herzegovina.

ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Oleg Butković said on Tuesday the European Commission had set no conditions for the construction of the Pelješac bridge and that there were no obstacles to its construction.

Government Advertises 68 Business Premises for Lease

ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - The State Property company said on Tuesday it had issued two calls for an expression of interest in leasing 68 state-owned business premises at attractive locations in several cities in the country, with prices ranging from 444 to 23,000 kuna for properties measuring between 11 and 370 square metres in area.
