The summer season is starting. It is always nice to witness it. With some restaurants and businesses already serving their first guest, while others working on the last few details to open for the season these days. And the first guests are here to enjoy the gorgeous spring weather on the island.

Summer must be close. First events this weekend in Jelsa..

I stopped eating sugar (among other things) over a year ago and although I was quite an addict, I managed it surprisingly well. It was actually pretty easy to stick to my decision and eat healthy, no exceptions. Taking my then 3 year-old with me on this journey was a different story. But I have a strong motivation as I see the health benefits on me and her, so I kept going despite her initial protest. Today, she is quite used to eating healthy and we do enjoy the food we are eating.

The Croatian Craft Beer revolution continues, with the announcement on April 22, 2016 that the first dedicated Croatian craft beer and burger will on open on the Dalmatian islands.
