ZAGREB, May 9, 2018 - Croatian Agriculture Minister Tomislav Tolušić is currently on a two-day official visit to Israel at the invitation of his Israeli counterpart, Uri Ariel, the Agriculture Ministry said on Wednesday.

ZAGREB, April 6, 2018 - President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović on Friday opened the 21st Gudovac Spring Fair with 500 exhibitors from Croatia and 10 foreign countries, where she called for a comprehensive agrarian reform because, although 40 billion kuna has been invested in agriculture since Croatia declared independence, agricultural production has been halved.

ZAGREB, March 1, 2018 - The Croatian government on Thursday sent to the parliament a new draft act on forests whereby the duration of time for conversion of the forest land that was consumed by fire into construction zone will be extended from the current five years to ten years.

ZAGREB, January 24, 2018 - The government sent the Law on Family Farms to parliament for a second reading on Wednesday, and Agriculture Minister Tomislav Tolušić said that family farms would finally have a law specifically designed for them, like companies, small businesses or cooperatives, and would be protected against enforcement action.

ZAGREB, January 21, 2018 - The Ministry of Agriculture will issue a 311 million kuna tender for the modernisation of fishing ports at the end of January as part of the measure "Fishing ports, unloading sites, wholesale fish markets and shelters".
