I had the pleasure of sparking up a wonderful friendship with the talented Yuya Matsuo some time ago now, the Japanese photographer rose to recognition via social media, namely Instagram, at an incredible pace. We decided to catch up and discuss just what it is that makes Croatia stand out from the rest in his artistic eyes.

For a city that is known to be typically grey, bleak, or uninviting, Sisak will now be brought to life with color as it is now home to a new street art festival named Re:Think. Inviting renowned street artists, muralists, graffiti artists and the likes to participate, this is the first ever event of its kind for the town.

The award-winning Split born cinematographer Mirko Pivčević is hosting a workshop at Klub Kocka this Saturday as part of a daily program put on by this year’s Split Spot Festival. The workshop will be about lighting design and is open to all professionals, enthusiasts and those who just want to learn something new about lighting in photography and camerawork.
