Considering the premiere performance of the Croatia Match Racing Team at this competition, this is a fantastic result

This weekend, the coastal city of Poreč and nearby Lanterna welcomed the 4th edition of the SUPer Surfers Challenge. This international stand-up paddle race is a part of the CRO SUP Tour and is a qualifying race for the ever-more popular, SUP World Championships in Denmark.

Vibrant, coastal Poreč is holding two, well-paired events this weekend; an Arts event, ‘Mosaic City’ celebrating the valuable mosaic sculpture of the Episcopal Complex of the Euphrasian Basilica, inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List; and an entertaining ‘Wine Nights’ event, bringing together an array of winemakers, local delicacies, renowned Istrian wines and musical performances.

The last day of the Basketball World School Championship in Poreč saw the duel of Croatian and Danish players for seventh place and the defeat of the women’s Croatian team against Hungary, also for seventh place. The world champions are the women’s team from Serbia and men’s team from Turkey

Stage five of Tour of Croatia is also known as the “queen” stage because it is considered to be the most important in deciding the final winner of the overall race.
