Sisak Prefect Confident that Local Oil Refinery Will Survive

ZAGREB, January 22, 2018 - Sisak-Moslavina County Prefect Ivo Žinić on Monday said that county authorities would not allow production in Sisak Refinery to be shut down but that authorities will advocate the continuation of primary production and for jobs to be retained as the loss of any job would mean a great loss for Sisak County.

President Demands Efforts to Save Oil Refinery in Sisak

ZAGREB, January 20, 2018 - Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović said on Saturday that shutting down the Sisak oil refinery would have serious repercussions for the population in that city 50 kilometres southeast of Zagreb, and that it was essential to do all that is necessary to salvage the refinery.

INA to Lay Off 40 Workers at Sisak Oil Refinery

ZAGREB, January 19, 2018 - The INA oil company has proposed organisational changes in the Sisak refinery which envisage the transport of products between the Sisak and Rijeka refineries and closing the FCC plant in the Sisak refinery, which will result in a maximum 40 layoffs in the second half of the year, INA said on Friday.
