The aim of the festival is to present the wealth of heritage, traditional trades, indigenous products and healthy food.
Domestic Split - a festival of handicrafts and homemade products will be held on the Split Riva from April 27 to May 1, 2018, announces Dalmatinski Portal on April 26, 2018.
“This special event aims to present the wealth of heritage, traditional trades, indigenous products and healthy food - and all of this at a time outside of the peak tourist season when many guests are expected in the city,” said Marija Stancin Mijanić, project manager from the company ‘Spalatum DMC’.
In addition to the fair, there will be promotion and tasting of products, as well as engaging free workshops of toy making, for both children and parents.
“At a time of globalization, these facilities are an additional tourist attraction of the city and a place where you can meet the guards of old recipes who create delicious food souvenirs, souvenirs made with traditional techniques and new and fresh ideas of artisans,” added Stancin Mijanić.
The fair will start tomorrow, April 27th, opening on the central stage at 12:00 when the children’s klapa Luč from the elementary school Lučac and the children's folklore group of the elementary school Bol will perform.
The working hours of the fair will be every day from 8:00 to 21:00.
