Sun is shining, the weather is sweet, and Brasserie on 7 has new treats for us to eat!
The summer season is creeping up on us here in Split, and while the warm weather and crowds of tourists this month have already given us a sweet taste of the heat, Brasserie on 7’s new summer menu is the perfect way to welcome the new season.
For those you that aren’t familiar with our favorite Riva location, let us remind you. Brasserie on 7, and what we locals proudly call B7, is a Riva restaurant inspired by the days when Split’s waterfront promenade was more famously known as the ‘French Riva’ during the rule of Napoleon. Drawing from history and French gastronomy, Brasserie on 7 mixes the best from French kitchens with Croatia’s cuisine, giving foodies a taste of world-class creations in one of the most attractive settings in the Dalmatian capital.
Now, B7 is not only known for being one of the standout breakfast spots in the city (and is one of the few places you can find eggs benedict and french toast on the menu), but their new summer offers for lunch and dinner have us coming back for more.
But let us tell you about the menu items that have us salivating, in particular.
If you’re going to B7 for lunch, you have no excuse but to try the Braised Beef Short rib Burger.
Prepared with sriracha aioli, lettuce, carrot and pickled onions, can you really go wrong?
Next up, a lunch and dinner menu item and a signature dish of the restaurant is the white tomato essence soup. Isn’t the name tempting enough?
Arranged with profiteroles, black truffle oil, and parmesan foam, we think the picture says it all.
And last but not least, B7’s seabass ceviche, which is only available for dinner guests, is not the standard ceviche you’d find on most Latin menus - and that’s precisely why it’ll be one of the best you’ve ever had.
Dressed with mesclun greens, caper berries, beat gel squid tuile - how can you say no?
For those of you with a sweet tooth, B7's stellar dessert menu is one for the books, so be sure to top your meal off with something decadent. The chocolate trio might just be our winning pick...
