A brand new convention center will be built near Šibenik with a capacity of 1,500 people; boasting 11 halls and a price tag worth 58 million kuna. It is meant to be the largest convention center in Croatia.
Šibenik.in reports that the Ugo Group from Šibenik Solaris resort will build the convention center worth 58 million kuna, and with its 1500 seats in the main hall and the same number of seats in the exhibition area and parking lot, it should be the biggest in Croatia, revealed CEO of Solaris Goran Zrilić yesterday.
Zrilić also announced yesterday that the known brands Hotel Milenij in Opatija and Solaris in Šibenik will operate under a new name: Amadria Park. The Ugo Group, owner of the two hotel companies Solaris and Milenij, will host all five Opatija and three Šibenik hotels under this new, single brand name.
The new brand emphasizes a long tradition and family values, but its introduction is a logical sequence of several years of investment in hotel capacity, the introduction of new content, and quality of services.
"Amadria Park is a new, Croatian hotel brand that will be in an even stronger position in the domestic and foreign markets, and further emphasizes the uniqueness of our hotels," said Ela Komlen on HRTurizam, a member of the board. The name Amadria Park reflects the love of the Adriatic Sea and harmony with nature, which is evident in the stylized list that appears as a sign of a new brand.
In the next period, further investment is planned to upgrade the remaining hotels in an effort to complete the portfolio of the new Amadria Park.
"By investing and improving the quality with new content, we want to extend the season and contribute to the economic development of the city in which we operate," said Zrilić.
