Komiža, the town the Croatian Tourist Board has named as an authentic coastal destination, presented a new promotional video at the end of 2016, reports HRTurizam on January 14, 2017.
Komiža is a small town on the island of Vis with a long fishing tradition which is reflected in its appearance and warmth of the locals. It is interesting that Komiža is located at the foot of the Hum hill and faces the West-Southwest direction - thus protected from all the northerly winds. Therefore, winter in Komiža is the warmest place in Croatia.
The Komiški archipelago includes the Adriatic islands of Biševo, Palagruža, Sv. Andrija, and the volcanic islands of Jabuka and Brusnik - all rich in their abundance of fish.
In addition to being known as a true fishing village, Komiža is the starting point for the beautiful Blue Grotto, and we're sure this video will have you planning your next vacation to Komiža.
