Transportation and availability are one of the preconditions for the development of tourism
The state fast ferry line Pula – Unije – Susak – Mali Lošinj – Ilovik- Silba – Zadar is set to be renewed, with a frequent schedule in the summer season and at least one sailing per week in winter, Hrturizam.hr reported on March 30, 2017.
At the end of January a meeting the Maritime Ministry ended with a conclusion the line should start in June and run year-round, subsidised by the Agency for Coastal Liner Traffic with 2 million kuna, Croatian Tourism Board with 1.5 million kuna and three counties and larger towns the line will connect, each with 161.000 kuna.
