The seemingly never-ending series of announcements for new routes to Croatia for summer 2017 continues, with the smaller airport of Rijeka - situated on the picturesque island of Krk (and connected to the mainland by bridge) - the latest recipient.
Eurowings, which is stepping up its interest in Croatia, will connect Rijeka to Hanover for the summer, with a weekly flight commencing on June 22 until October 26, which will give tourists from northern Germany one more convenenient entry point to Kvarner and Istria.
