In addition to Croatia, the list includes Australia, Belize, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Thailand and Uruguay. So, Croatia has found itself in a very pleasant and distinguished company.

As expected, American retirees are invited to check the Adriatic coast, because of its "beautiful scenery, good climate, ancient cultural monuments, low-cost of living and tax relief for seniors". In addition, as Forbes points out, Croatia has left the war far behind it and is currently working to create a stable and secure country.

The article has specifically pointed out Istria and Dubrovnik as particularly suitable locations for retirees. According to Forbes, the only downside of Croatia is the lack of direct flights to the United States.
