The Telegraph Lists Dubrovnik Among Best European Cities For Kids!

By 3 September 2017

The Telegraph praises the Pearl of the Adriatic!

The respected British publication presented us with a list of great European cities entitled''The European cities you should take your child to before they're 18'' and ranked alongside the long-standing tourism kings of Europe, such as Amsterdam and London, Dubrovnik finds itself on the list!

Dubrovnik has wowed the crowds for a great many years now and is barely recognisable when compared to how it looked during the hell the city went through in the war at the hands of the JNA and Serbian aggression, a mere 25 years ago.

Now popular not only for its incredible history, culture, architecture, gastronomy, scenery (I could go on and on, luckily for you, I won't), the Pearl of the Adriatic has added a few more notches to its already impressive belt following taking up the role of ''Kings Landing'' in the wildly popular Game of Thrones series. The film and TV theme didn't end there, with the city playing Naboo for the highly anticipated new Star Wars film, and Nottingham (which is of personal pride to me!) for the new Robin Hood film set to be released next year. To add to the running theme, the city is also set to play its part in an up and coming James Bond film, which holds special significance to the city, read why here.

To be short, Croatia's southernmost city is without a doubt the country's most popular and well known destination, attracting millions throughout the year. The Telegraph writes a short and simple paragraph, before providing links to some of the best accommodation in the Pearl of the Adriatic:

''Overlooking the turquoise waters of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritahe Site, is one of the planet's most magnificent walled cities; it is the perfect family city break to combine history and activity. Why not climb the city walls in the morning and take in the coastline from the comfort of your own kayak in the afternoon?''
