ZAGREB, March 21, 2018 - Milenij Hotels in the northern Adriatic resort of Opatija, which are part of Croatia's Amadria Park chain, are the national winner of a European Business Award (EBA) and have been shortlisted for the overall winner which will be chosen in Warsaw on May 22-23, Amadria Park said on Wednesday.
Milenij Hotels won in the EBA Social Responsibility and Environmental Awareness Award category.
EBA executive director Adriano Tripp said this was a big success as Milenij Hotels were chosen among 2,898 companies, according to Amadria Park.
This hotel chain announced the opening of a luxury hotel in Zagreb in which the Ugo Group, the owner of Amadria Park, is investing 14.5 million kuna. The hotel will be in the centre of the city, have 122 rooms, carry the heritage designation and be the group's first "city" hotel.
