Arena Hospitality Group continues to invest in its accommodation facilities in Istria
We've barely managed to report about the first 5-star camp opening in Istria, and the region has already served us with more tourism-related news. The Verudela Beach resort in Pula, a facility owned by the Arena Hospitality Group, will boast new luxurious suites by the end of May, Glas Istre reports on April 10, 2018.
In this coming season, the guests of the new facility will get to enjoy a four-star service in the new suites, officially a part of the nearby Hotel Park Plaza Arena. Instead of the former regular apartments equipped with a kitchen, the guests will now get to choose between seven state-of-the-art hotel suites with a double bedroom, a living room, a bathroom and two balconies. In addition, they will have a line of other services at their disposal: a restaurant, wellness facilities, an outdoor swimming pool, lounge chairs spread around in the shade of pine trees, and a children's playground in a park behind the hotel.
Two years ago, Arena Hospitality Group renovated the first apartment building in the Verudela Beach resort in a similar way, coming up with six new hotel suites. The newly opened facilities ended up being a hit - according to the director of sales and marketing Manuela Kraljević, the suites were so sought-after, the company has decided to expand the offer.
The former Hotel Park at Verudela was entirely renovated in 2015, getting branded as Park Plaza. A year later, the group opened its first garden suites, boasting a four-star rating. This year, the resort will dispose of 176 accommodation units - 156 suites and 20 villas, while Hotel Park will kick off the season with 175 rooms in the hotel building and 13 suites in two hotel wings.
The suites can accommodate 2-4 guests and are equipped with LCD flat-screens both in the bedroom and the living room, a music sound dock system, tea and coffee machines, and of course, free wi-fi. The investment is worth 1,2 million kuna in total.
Arena Hospitality Group has also continued to invest in their Hotel Holiday in Medulin. Last year, they renovated all rooms, along with the reception desk, the lobby, and the congress hall. This time around, they're touching up the kitchen and the hotel restaurant. They have also revamped the wellness facilities in Hotel Park Plaza Histria at Verudela in Pula. Their leading investment at the moment is the Pomer campsite, a project worth 5,5 million euro that's set to become a luxurious glamping oasis.
