Epic Week in Croatia: 218 Ways to Win a Perfect Holiday

For the third year in a row, the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) launched their popular promotional campaign 'Epic Week in Croatia' on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

This year, the campaign offers no less than 218 attractive activities that will help travellers create a perfect Croatian holiday. As part of the campaign, HTZ organised a special competition crowned with a main prize that involves an unforgettable trip to Croatia.

'Epic Week in Croatia' is meant to encourage fans and potential tourists to create a dream holiday using the specially created website that offers 218 themed activities and experiences. All participants can choose seven top activities that would make up their ideal vacation, followed by numerous cities, locations, monuments, landmarks and flavours they want to taste and experience during their stay in Croatia. All those who share their selection of top seven activities on their social media profiles automatically qualify for the competition. Those contestants who amass the largest number of likes on their posts will qualify for the grand finale.

The first edition of the campaign had featured 101 activities, had a reach of 13 million people and resulted in 10.000 new fans on social networks. Owing to this considerable traction, HTZ decided to take it up a notch and increased the number of activities to 200 for the second edition, seeing success once again: the campaign reached 40 million people, and the HTZ gained 50.000 new fans on social media. According to HTZ director Kristjan Staničić, they're expecting even better results this year and are certain that the Epic Week in Croatia will help position the country as an attractive destination which offers a lot to its guests.

The main prize will go to the contestant who provides the best explanation as to why they deserve a trip to Croatia. Whoever wins will get to indulge in a tailor-made holiday, created according to the top activities they selected in the first place.
