The vessel, carrying over 1,000 passengers, arrived in Šibenik yesterday.
As SibenikIN writes on the 11th of September, 2018, as Gordana Mrčela of the Šibenik Port Authority stated, MS Marella Celebration arrived from Ancona to Sibenik at around 18:00 yesterday, after which, she continued sailing down to Hvar.
Yesterday morning, more than one thousand of the ship's passengers arrived in the popular Dalmatian city of Šibenik, most of them British nationals, who will spend a day exploring the city as well as Šibenik-Knin County.
When not exploring the city and its surrounding areas itself, the guests on board the vessel are able to enjoy a variety of activities offered on the boat which boasts numerous cafés and restaurants, lounge bars, movie and music halls, casinos, sports facilities, swimming pools for children and adults, relaxation facilities and more.
As part of the stay of the guests of this ship in Šibenik, they visited the city's sights under the guidance of local tourist guides, went to the beach, and as many as nine buses drove visitors to Krka National Park where they spent the day.
Not to forget, just last week in Zablaće, the largest cruise liner to dock in the area, the Queen Elizabeth, measuring in at a massive 294 metres in length, arrived. The Queen Elizabeth brought with her about 2,200 passengers, and as they added from the Port Authority, due to the increased number of passengers arriving in Šibenik's port, this season has been the best so far.
