Two Remarkable Luxurious Sailing Yachts Seen on the Adriatic

By 20 September 2019

While amazing yachts, sailboats and other exclusive vessels are often seen in Croatia (sometimes even more than one at the same time near an islet smaller than both of them), it doesn't happen often that two of the most amazing sailing yachts in the world find themselves here at the same time.

The first one is Maltese Falcon, and 24sata writes about it currently sailing around Murter. It's unknown who is currently onboard one of the most luxurious sailboats in the world, but what is known is that a week's rental costs around 600,000 USD - and, if you have some extra cash in your couch cushions, it is currently on sale and you can buy it for mere 130 million dollars. It's 88 meters long, and can take 12 guests, being taken care of by the 19 members of the crew.

The other equally amazing yacht has also made its way into Croatian media recently, when it was seen around Dubrovnik. Since than A (that's the yacht's name) has made her way north, and has been spotted near Mali Lošinj by a Twitter user:

The user who posted a photo is not quite sure if she likes the yacht or not, and a discussion below her tweet suggests that most people are not really into the aesthetic, but it is the biggest sailing yacht in the world, and it's certain that it turns heads wherever it goes. As was probably the intention of the yacht's designer Phillipe Stark, who created it for Andrey Melnichenko, one of the richest men in Russia.

Maybe the two should meet somewhere between Mali Lošinj and Murter and have an amazing yacht-off! There'd surely be numerous spectators wanting to see the amazing pair of sailing yachts in one picture frame.
