Named after former Grand Prix racing driver Niki Lauda, who acquired the former Aero Lloyd Austria operation in 2003, Niki has a partnership with Air Berlin.

Meanwhile in Osijek, after a delayed start after which doubts were cast on whether operations would ever start, Osijek-based Sea Air is expanding its international operations. Flights to Tbilisi and Kuwait from Sarajevo are due to start next week, with additional flights from Tirana to Dortmund, Frankfurt and Munich next month.
