The place is an absolute heaven - a special atmosphere of naturist swimmers and sailboats with a great view at Zečevo, Brač island and the mainland. WIth those pure lines of the big stone plates and the clear blue sea and sun (no shade), it is a truly unique beach on the island.
Glavice is located at the north side of the Soline peninsula near Vrboska. Having one of the best naturist camps very close by, the whole place is mixed with naturists and swimsuit-bathers and it is more of a quiet zone, being a total opposite to the very popular Soline beach on the other side (where a restaurant, bouncing castle, trampoline and inflatable aquapark is located).
There is a long walking path around the peninsula, and people are running, riding bikes and walking along the sea to their desired bathing spot (there is plenty to choose from).
Today, we were taken by my parents to their favourite spot - somewhere in the middle of the peninsula. They were so happy to be there after a long time, enjoying every moment, swimming, sunbathing and spending time with their granddaughter.
A great day. The sea might actually be a bit warmer than the outside temperature, so wrapping yourself in a towel will be a good idea, once you get out. But then, try to lay down on the warm stone plates and soak in those September rays of sunshine - it is magnificent!!
