Vinišće: Farmlands along the Sea Turned into Gold with Single Stroke of a Pen

Proclaim a settlement with only a few houses and get the construction plot where you normally wouldn't.

Ljubljeva bay (Marina district) with only a few houses got its settlement proclamation which means that large plots of land worth 30 eur per square meter have now become construction plots worth 300 eur per square meter, reports Slobodna Dalmacija on March 22, 2017. It is expected to soon see some private hotels there.

Ljubomir Radić (local HDZ president), one of the candidates fot the future district major, says that this move was made directly and against all the regulations to help the investor Ivan Kosi (owner of the company White Marina) whose company owns two parcels in this area. He says that this decision was proclaimed and put into force immediately.

Kosi confirmed for the newspaper that he and his partner Klaus Oslewacz own 9.000 square meters of land and that they are preparing a valuable touristic project. The plan for this was delivered three years ago to the district authorities and the project includes a tourist object with sauna, wellness and access roads.

By the PPU this farmland will become building land, and Kosi says that him and his partner don't intend to sell it (even though these 9.000 m2 will be worth 2.700.000 eur after the changes).
Ljubomir Radić warns that with this proclamation of "Sevid na moru" as a settlement, the investors will be able to build in the zone 70 meters from the sea.

The new PPU is to be discussed by the Easter.
