ZAGREB, May 5, 2018 - Lufthansa, Europe's biggest passenger airline, on Saturday introduced a Frankfurt-Zadar flight which will operate on Saturdays and Sundays until October 27.
Passengers from Zadar will have a direct connection with many destinations in Europe and further on to Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Johannesburg, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, New York, Washington, Chicago, San Francisco and Toronto, among others, Zadar Airport director Josip Klišmanić said, adding that the Lufthansa Group accounted for nearly 20% of the airport's passenger turnover.
Peter Pullem of the Lufthansa Group said they would offer additional flights on the Munich-Zadar route as of this month.
On Saturdays and Sundays, Zadar will be connected with one of Europe's biggest air hubs at 89 euro for a round trip ticket, he said, adding that the Group's Swissair, Austrian Airlines, Eurowings and Brussels Airlines operated 17 flights to Zadar.
