Something new and hope-giving on the horizon for Nova Gradiška.
One successful Samobor-based company initially started out with 36 workers in their factory in Nova Gradiška, and today that number has already managed to reach 62, with high hopes for the future, it seems the employment cycle in this positive economic story is far from over yet.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 27th of July, 2018, Samoborska Klimaoprema, the well-known and leading Croatian manufacturer of air conditioning and ventilation units, as well as clean facilities, is set to build a new factory in Nova Gradiška, in which it will invest more than 100 million kuna. The Samobor company opened a new and modern production facility in Nova Gradiška back in 2015, but by the end of 2016 its capacities were already filled, meaning that there was a need for another factory at that same location.
Back in May this year, the company and the competent city authorities signed a contract for the purchase of 42,000 square metres of land in Nova Gradiška's industrial park, and work began on the construction of a new plant over the past several days, Lokalni.hr writes.
As an additional workforce was required, the company also signed a contract on the dual education of students attending Nova Gradiška's industrial school, meaning that those who are already visiting the factory will be able to gain employment there following the end of their compulsary education at the school should they want to.
