The project will be undertaken by the domestic companies Monter-Mechanical Installation, Elektrocentar Petek, and S.C.A.N.
As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 9th of August, 2018, Plinacro has reportedly begun on the construction of the first compressor station (KS1) on the Croatian gas transport system on Friday in Moslavina, close to Velika Ludina.
The company is investing an enormous 209.5 million kuna into the project, which will enable a permanent two-way capacity at the existing interconnection between Croatia and Hungary, as was reported on Thursday from Plinacro.
"Tomorrow, on August the 10th, Plinacro, the operator of the Croatian gas transport system, will begin with construction work on the building of the first compressor station (KS1) on Croatia's gas transport system. It will be built in Moslavina, near Velika Ludina, and, when completed, will be the most technologically complex facility in the gas transport system of the Republic of Croatia,'' the statement read.
It is expected that the aforementioned compressor station, with a maximum power of 4.2 megawatts (MW) and a capacity of 200,000 cubic metres per hour (m3/h), will begin working later on in 2019.
Plinacro also pointed out that works on the construction on Croatia's brand new and very first KS1 compressor station will be entirely a product of domestic knowledge. The contractors involved in the realisation of this huge and extremely expensive project are all Croatian companies, consisting of Monter-Mechanical Installation, Elektrocentar Petek and S.C.A.N.
