Hotel Park in Rovinj Gets a 600 Million Kuna Makeover

By 1 October 2016

In late October, a Rovinj hotel will be receiving one of the largest investments in tourism since Croatian independence. This project will remove the old Hotel Park, replacing it with a new, super hotel with 5+ stars. The investors of the project are Adris Group, who own tourism division and hotel group Maistra. The total value of the project amounts to nearly 600 million kuna.

The new hotel will have a total of 209 units (193 rooms and 20 luxury suites). Most rooms will overlook the sea and the old town of Rovinj, and there will also be a small private pool on the terrace. In addition, the hotel will offer numerous other luxurious facilities and services, such as many wellness and spa services, and a number of external and internal swimming pools.

“The investment value of nearly 600 million includes the construction of the hotel, but also the decorating of walkways, roads and horticultural planning for the entire zone. The new hotel will employ about a hundred employees. Note that on this project are the best of our (Croatian) and the world's architects and designers,” said the Adris Group.

The opening of Hotel Park, which is planned for 2018, will end up further decorating Adris’ exclusive hotel zone, where you will find the hotels Eden, Park, Lone and Monte Mulini.

Over the next 3 years, the Adris group are planning to invest another 1.6 billion kuna. Their goal is to have more than 90% of accommodation in the category of 4 and 5+ stars, which will attract more visitors of spending power.

In addition to their investments in Istria, the Adris group is considering the possibility of investing in other destinations, especially Zagreb and Split.
