One of Zagreb's most endearing attractions needs a general service, find out here when it will be out of order.
Zagreb's famous funicular (uspinjača) is in need of some TLC, so if you want to get to Upper Town (Gornji Grad) without using your feet too much, the use of bus lines 150 (Tuškanac Garaža - Upper Town - Trg bana Josipa Jelačića) and 105 (Kaptol - Britanski Trg) have been recommended while the city's popular funicular undergoes its yearly service.
As Poslovni Dnevnik reports on the 29th of March, 2018, owing to its regular annual general service, Zagreb's funicular will be out of order from Tuesday, April the 3rd until Monday, April the 16th, 2018.
The funicular is considered to be the safest means of public transport in the city, and in order to keep hold of that prestigious title, it's necessary to carry out a statutory annual service covering all the technical tests needed, as well as the inspection of the cabins and facilities, writes ZET in its statement announcing the funicular's servicing.
