The popular Croatian duo 2Cellos seem to be unstoppable: Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser have been invited to perform as the opening act of the 2018 UEFA Champions League final.
As reported by Glas Istre, the duo will make an appearance at the final that's taking place on Saturday, May 26 in Kiev. Before they get up on stage, pop singer Dua Lipa will set the big night in motion with her hit 'New Rules'; moments after, she'll be joined by Sean Paul for a live performance of their popular duet 'No Lie'.
And then, the famous tune known around the globe: 2Cellos will perform a special rendition of the UEFA Champions League anthem as the Real Madrid and Liverpool players take to the pitch.
Hauser called the upcoming performance a highlight of their career. "We're incredibly happy and proud to be part of such a major and spectacular event", said the renowned musician.
Last year, the final was watched by more than 350 million people.
