ZAGREB, July 9, 2018 - World-famous Argentinean tenor Jose Cura will hold a concert in Zagreb's Tomislavov Square on Tuesday as part of the open-air Zagreb Classic festival and is also exhibiting his photographs in the city's Art Pavilion.
The seven-day exhibition, which was opened on Monday, is being held under the title "Jose Cura – Life Through the Lens of the Famous Tenor."
Both the concert and exhibition are being organised on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the Art Pavilion.
The exhibition encompasses 28 photos about "everyday life of 'ordinary' people and uses the medium of photography because of its outstanding ability to capture the living moment, the moment in the present that will by tomorrow be the past," according to the information on the website of the Art Pavilion in Zagreb.
Attending the exhibition's opening ceremony, Cura said that photography has been his hobby for over 45 years.
The concert featuring Cura and Croatian opera diva Evelin Novak is also dedicated to the 162nd anniversary of the birth of scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla.
