ZAGREB, August 12, 2018 - More than a hundred local and foreign exhibitors of healthy food, organic produce and natural cosmetics that aren't tested on animals will present their goods at the 11th ZeGeVege Festival which will be staged in Zagreb's Ban Jelačić square on 7 and 8 September.

Several lectures will be held during the festival on various aspects of veganism, animal rights, ecology and sustainable living. There will also be cooking workshops conducted by masters in the field of cooking. Restaurants will include vegan meals on their menus from vegan burgers and kebabs and the like.

ZeGeVege will be supported by an entertainment programme presenting various dances.

The Animal Friends associations invited participants to use this opportunity to present various vegan spreads and super food for pets too.

ZeGeVege Festival is part of an international Veganmania movement held in 15 European countries to educate people about the importance of sustainable living.

The organisers underscored that more than 50,000 people visited last year's 10th edition of this festival.
