By 6 September 2018

The Dalmatian city of Sibenik is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as well as some impressive stone fortresses which have defended its residents over the centuries. Now known as one of the more innovative destinations combining heritage and tourism, Sibenik's St. Michael's Fortress has become one of the most picturesque and intimate concert arenas in Europe, attracting some global superstars such as last night's guest, Bryan Ferry. TCN was there.

September 5, 2018 - St Michael's Fortress and the city of  Šibenik welcomed Bryan Ferry and his orchestra to the open air stage high atop the oldest fortification in this ancient medieval town of pure ambiance and magic.. and what a welcome it was!

A sellout concert bursting at the seams rocked the fortress from start to finish! Bryan Ferry now in his 72nd year delighted the adoring crowd with Roxy Music evergreens from the 70's and 80's, Avalon, Jealous Guy, Love is the Drug, More Than This, and the forever madly popular and raunchy Let's Stick Together had the crowd in a wild frenzy begging for more!

The two backing girls on stage added to the overall quality of the performance, enhancing the spectacular  lighting effects, adding seductive movement and excitement to the show, and with every musician on stage, from guitars, to keyboards, drums, violin, and the sexy female saxophonist, fulfilled the crowd's wildest dreams and expectations!

Bryan Ferry has always been known as one of the best-dressed performers around town. British Esquire magazine once mentioned his obsession with clothing and style, commenting on any personal interaction with Ferry as being a 'bespoke event, a louche ensemble of affections'.

When it comes to style, the languid yet elegant 'Ferry style' together with pulsating rhythm and meaningful lyrics, leaves one breathless and wanting more.
