The legendary coat has been presented in Zagreb.
The Italian fashion house Max Mara, a symbol of quality and impeccably clean aesthetics, presented the Teddy Bear coat at its shop in downtown Zagreb. The coat has been declared as an absolute must-have clothing item for the season and has gained the fashion icon status in the record time and found itself on the wish lists of numerous fashion followers from around the world.
Coats as clothing items have been in the focus of this legendary fashion house for the past 65 years. The unbreakable tie between the teddy bear and this recognizable coat began in the 1980s when the coat was originally made of plush fabrics produced in Germany, which were initially used to create luxury children's toys, particularly teddy bears.
The German fabric was later replaced by an Italian one, which is produced by a special weaving technique, with camel hair and a silk base. The result which has emerged from the Max Mara studios is a fantastically rich and sumptuous coat of childlike charm whose look strongly follows the original models.
The Teddy Bear coat was first presented in its current version in the 2017 fall/winter collection. It has quickly acquired the cult status and is proudly worn by some of the greatest global stars, such as actress Julianne Moore, singer Rita Ora and globally popular Kim Kardashian.
Last night’s presentation was attended by many Croatian celebrities, such as actresses Judita Franković, Ana Begić, Kristina Krepela, Vanda Winter; TV host Nevena Rendeli; former (and present) models Iris Androšević Pinjuh and Zvončica Vucković, and many others.
They were all able to join the Teddy mania since Max Mara made it possible for all the visitors to enjoy for a moment this warmest and the most popular coat of the season and have their instant camera photo taken, so they could take the photo with them as a memento.
