Croatians like good design, but given their general standard of living it is indeed not irrelevant how much they have to pay for fashionable clothes, shoes and accessories. Therefore, it is no wonder that there are several outlets located close to Zagreb and one of the best-known is the one found in Sesvete called Designer Outlet Croatia.
The shopping centre is a joint venture between the Ikea Centers company and Mutschler Outlet Holding AG from Switzerland. The two companies already co-operate in the Designer Outlet Algarve project in Portugal. Both the Croatian and the Portuguese outlets are managed by a consulting company from Austria, ROS Retail Outlet Shopping, one of the leading European outlet managers.
For many, time spent shopping in outlets where prices are not too high is the time spent best.
The outlet boasts over 100 prestigious brands, including Armani Exchange, Croata, Pepe Jeans, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Converse, Yamamay, XYT, Gerry Weber, Liscu, Desigual, Barbolini, Under Armor... While looking for a deal, shoppers pass by the replica of Dubrovnik's city tower and something which is supposed to look like Dalmatian streets. There is also the Lotrščak tower, a piece of Zagreb's Upper Town...
A few days ago, a group of journalists and Croatian celebrities and influencers was invited to visit the outlet. The mini-tour was joined by such well-known personalities such as actress Sementa Rajhard, influencer Rita Rumora and well-known bloggers from outside of Croatia, Tesa Jurjašević from Ljubljana and Azra Hajdar from Mostar.
For a more straightforward shopping trip, there is a direct bus line from the Savski Most terminal in Zagreb that stops at key locations in the city.

Spring in colourful tones... Every woman should have in her closet at least one piece of clothing which makes her noticeable and different from others. Such clothing helps her to walk boldly, demonstrate her uniqueness and increase her own confidence. Enough with the uniformity – this is the message of Pinko clothing, the famous Italian brand which exists for 40 years but is always innovative and cheerful.
Their collections are eclectic, colourful, bright and – very appropriate for the spring. The latest one was presented on Tuesday in the Zagreb city centre. It is interesting to note that Pinko's dress which is reminiscent of the hot glam days of rock & roll can quickly become a business combination with a single-colour jacket, sensual with a wide strap, or quirky, coupled with trendy "shoes to rock" sneakers with applied neon details. The unmistakable companion of a Pinko woman is Love Bag, a bag richly decorated with fluorescence glitter that this season comes in the famous matelasse pattern.
Pinko women are daring and different; they are not afraid to join the incompatible, choosing vibrant colours and striking patterns. Pinko successfully combines Italian tailoring craft and recognisable fashion styles. Numerous fashion enthusiasts gathered at the Pinko store at Teslina St. 13 in Zagreb at the presentation of the new collection and left convinced that the spring and summer of 2019 will be full of colours and irresistible quirky charm.
Enjoying the sweet snacks and toasting the spring, loyal clients and celebrities, including Matija Vujica whose fashion creations are popular in Hollywood, have shown that they wear pieces of clothing with the signature of this well-known brand. Those with the distinctive “Love Bag” purses had the opportunity to have them personalised by Pinko's calligraphy expert by writing their names, initials, drawings, and dedications. Definitely, the link between a woman and her purse is very personal, so the purse deserves a distinctive signature.
