ZAGREB, 19 June 2022 - An international mental arithmetic and mental math Olympiad, which took place in Zagreb on Sunday, brought together about 500 children from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Austria, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The event for children aged between 4 and 17 was organised by the "Malac Genijalac Hrvatska" association.
Mental arithmetic concerns arithmetical calculations using only the human brain, with no help from any supplies (such as pencil and paper) or devices such as a calculator.
