Croatia is a country rich in diverse tradition. Meet the three ladies still carrying baskets on their heads in the village of Vrhovac.
The longer I live in Croatia, the less I know.
"The lovely little village of Vrhovac cherishes its traditions. Can you imagine that for generations people walked for miles to the market with a 20 kilo load or more on their head. Nowadays there are only three ladies left who still carry the "burden of life" on their head instead of "in" their head. Great tradition!"
