Food and Wine Lovers, Don't Miss the 10th VINOcom in Zagreb

By 20 November 2015

One of Croatia's largest culinary and wine culture expos will be held in the Esplanade hotel on November 27 and 28, 2015.

If you love Croatian food and wine and just happen to be around Zagreb on November 27 - 28,2015, then the 10th VINO come expo is something you cannot afford to miss.

During a press conference which was held at the Esplanade hotel in Zagreb, we were able to get a glimpse of what the expo will offer, and we can say right now that all foodies and wine connoisseurs should definitely mark these dates since this year's VINOcom should not be missed. VINOcom is once again dedicated to true table culture, presenting wine and food as an integral part of Croatian economy and tourism. Given that it is being held just in time for the upcoming holiday season, VINOcom is also a great opportunity for business people to get a sense of gift options for their partners and it will provide all hospitality and tourism workers with a great insight on how to enrich their own offer in 2016.

VINOcom will once again offer a lot more than just wine tastings. During the two day event, you will be able to learn how to perfectly pair food and wine as well as  participate in one of many Eno-gastro workshops for wine merchants, sommeliers, hospitality workers, members of the press and all other lovers of good food and fantastic Croatian wine.

Many renowned Croatian wine producers were present at the press conference. Representatives from Agrolaguna and Krauthaker took the opportunity to talk about the medals won in Bergamo at the Emotions du Monde: Merlot et Cabernet Ensemble, while Belje presented their own new product – Kulen from Baranja.

10th VINOcom will be presented on more than 2500m2 with over 300 exhibitors, producers and merchants of wine, prosciutto, cheese, oil, kulen, sweets and other products from the EU and our region. The highlight of the event for wine producers is the Bijeli Grozd (White cluster) award for best wine cellars in Croatia given out by the GET Association lead by Tomislav Stipolšek and Silvija Munda, two great Eno-gastro journalists and the „go-to“ people when it comes to Croatian wine and delicacies. You'll be hearing a lot more about them and from them on Total Croatia News very soon since they have kindly agreed to keep us updated on all the great gastro events across Croatia, so stay tuned.

VINOcom working hours on both days are from 12 (noon) until 8 PM, the official opening is on Friday November 27 at noon. You can find the full list of exhibitors right HERE.

See you all next Friday and Saturday at the Esplanade, until then – cheers!
