Successful June for Arrivals and Overnight Stays in Dubrovnik-Neretva County

June was a great month for Dubrovnik-Neretva County as both arrivals and overnight stays steadily increase.

As DuList reported on the 4th of July, 2017, Dubrovnik-Neretva County has recorded some fantastic numbers for last month.

In the county and wider Dubrovnik region as a whole, 266,012 arrivals were recorded throughout June, which is an impressive 20% more than during the same period last year. As for overnight stays, 1,095,106 nights were recorded, 18% more than in June 2016.

These numbers follow a trend and a growing number of reports about high numbers and a very promising tourist season all over Croatia, with records reportedly being broken in many coastal regions, towns and cities. In the first six months of this year alone, 639,618 arrivals were registered in various locations throughout Dubrovnik-Neretva County, coupled with a huge 2,338,210 overnight stays, a 21% increase when compared to the same time period of last year. 

The largest number of overnight stays were registered to be from nationals of other European countries such as the United Kingdom, domestic tourists from other parts of Croatia, Germany, France, neighbouring Bosnia and Herzegovina and Poland, with the numbers being added to by nationals from further afield, such as the United States of America.
