By 16 September 2017

Heavy rain has created problems on numerous roads in Croatia, including the Rijeka-Zagreb motorway.

Heavy rain lashed the Kvarner region last night flooding the centre of Crikvenica and the roads in the area, 24sata reports on September 16, 2017.

HAK reports that due to a large amount of water on the roadway, the traffic conditions are poor on the county road from Bribir to Novi Vinodolski from the shopping centres in Novi Vinodolski. Due to rain roads are wet and slippery in Istria, in the northern coastal area, in Gorski Kotar and Lika mountain areas, in the central and northwestern parts of Croatia, so drivers are advised to adjust their speed and drive carefully.
