It is expected that an international arrest warrant will be issued for Ivica Todorić and his sons.
As RTL writes on the 18th of October, 2017, a 30-day custodial sentence for the twelve arrested individuals is expected, and it seems increasingly likely that an international arrest warrant will be issued for Ivica Todorić and his sons. Although it is as yet unknown, it is believed that Ante Todorić will arrive in Croatia from the United Kingdom tomorrow.
The first round of hearings is over and all the lawyers involved in the case are attempting to get their clients put under house arrest as opposed to having them be detained by the authorities, but the court has never granted it and those measures have never been applied as yet, so it will be extremely difficult to succeed in that. This leads to the assumption that the accused parties will spend this evening in Remetinec.
Ante Todorić's lawyer claims that Ante Todorić will certainly not arrive in Croatia today, but says he is "on the go'', highlighting the possibility of his arrival tomorrow.
The twelve individuals from Agrokor's former administrative body who were arrested over the past few days were brought to Zagreb County Court at 05:00 this morning and were assigned temporary custody in Remetinec, where they were supposed to spend twelve hours.
It is expected that Ivica Todorić and his sons will be issued an international arrest warrant.
Ante Todoric's lawyer, Rajko Cogurić, said on Wednesday that his client was ''moving towards'' Croatia, but he still does not know where exactly Ivica and Ivan Todorić are.
If Ante Todorić arrives on the territory of the Republic of Croatia via Pleso Airport, the border police will arrest him and take him directly into police custody.
