As Poslovni Dnevnik writes on the 29th of March, 2018, Zagreb's Franjo Tudjman Airport will be closed at night from April the 4th to allow for the beginning of works to remedy some of the shortcomings of the airport's landing paths.

According to a report from Vecernji List, they have stated from Zagreb Airport that these necessary works will last for two months and that they will see the runway closed during the night after the end of the day's regular traffic, and it will be reopened again in the morning before the regular air traffic re-begins.

The statement from Franjo Tudjman Airport confirms that these works will not interfere with the airport's regular air traffic flow and that it unfortunately wasn't possible to undertake the works during the colder winter months because the preconditions for such types of works is that the outside temperature is at least three degrees celsius.
